Aw balls. :C That sucks. Hmmm...I know there's got to be a way of getting one for cheap, or at least lower cost. Just a matter of figuring it out, I guess.
As for just plopping the audio down onto the video, there might be framerate problems and things like that. So, unless you set the preferences correctly (I have no idea how at the moment XD), there might be epic audio lag.
Also, I edited the link colours on the blog. Howzzat?

Sweet butts. And apparently I can record from my 360. I forgot that I have an HDMI connection on my new graphics card. XD Cool then. Maybe I'll do a Let's Play Fable 2 at some point... So, how's everyone doing with their stuffs? Problems? Obstacles? Questions? Hamburgers?

Your graphics card will have HDMI output, I doubt it'll have input.

Wait...shit. I forgot it was output and not input. Oh well. XD Anyway, the card would have been much more money if it had input.
So, news: It appears McNinja's not feeling up to doing any LPs at the moment. So, unless someone else decides to start doing some, we won't be having any for a while. At least until I can get a new microphone. I might end up advertising a bit on the TZH forums, cause, while it would be hilarious to be the only Maddhaus Gamer and speak in plurals, it would also be ridiculous. XD

I have a question, how do I add a second audio track to an AVI file in Audacity?

Project (Top menu) > New Audio Track. Or just hitting record will add another track which gets recorded onto. Say, Hobo, what do you want to go as? Hobo? Infamous Hobo? Hamburger? I'll need to know so I can update the Current Gamers list. Also, to everyone: Once I've given you the login info for the YouTube channel (and blog, since it's the same thing), you'll find a PM in the YouTube inbox. I sent the MG intro that'll be put at the start of our videos. I also attached the one I uploaded to YouTube so you can see how it looks before d/ling it.

So... I have that CamStudio program going, and as soon as I figure out to make it record the audio from my speakers and microphone individually... instead of from just my microphone (which makes the game audio quality less than what it is...), then I'll gladly start uploading videos of my exploits. My first successful test is uploading as I speak, and I'll link it as soon as it's done. Note: Said exploits will have to consist of only SNES, NES, GBA, PC or GBC games, seeing as though I don't have the money to get a capture card for my consoles. <_< UPDATE: Interesting stuff?

Ahh, c'est non problem. That's my case also. XD But there are a shit tonne of freeware games (not including emulators), so we're good.

Apparently I need to compress my video so that it isn't 400 megabytes and won't take forever to upload... and naturally, I'm clueless... Anyone got any ideas? UPDATE: I found a solution on my own, albeit I would've never have looked for it without a little motivation from Sammich. XD If you're using the CamStudio program (which I find is quite suitable for my emulator recording needs), then you can record that at a high quality at around 60 frames per second, and then use this nifty little program called MediaCoder to make the file size a lot smaller, and to convert it from a .avi type to a .mp4 file type. I'm not sure what that does, all I know is that it makes it smaller. Much much smaller. All you have to do in the program is add the file into the window, and then click the button at the far right of the bar that says something about transcoding. Then wait a couple of minutes while it does its thing, and whazzah! A 400 megabyte video file is reduced to about twenty megabytes with no visible loss in quality. Hope this helped some of ya.

It's called a video encoder, FYI, and how do you think I feel with and 3Gb+ 10 minutes video? =P

If I don't use the compression method in VirtualDub, I'll probably use that method. Because it is much sexiness.
