Let's start out this board with some good old fashioned brutality. For those who don't know, Blood Bowl is essentially American Football, as played in the Warhammer (fantasy) universe. It gets... bloody. Might have something to do with the trolls, minotaurs and assorted other nasties on the field.
The game comes with two play modes, classic, which is essentially the board game rules, just played on your box, or real time, which is much more dynamic and quite chaotic. The game is also surprisingly difficult if you don't actually have any experience and it takes a bit of time to learn (Unless you do the smart thing and read the manual. As we were two people playing side by side, we didn't.)
All in all, it's a fun game, and the sight of black orcs punting dwarves a couple of squares is absolutely priceless. (And then the goblin runner comes and teabags the troll-slayer. Oh, the look on your opponent's face.)

Eff, that's what I meant. I'm so used to 40k that I basically substituted "Warhammer" for that. XD

I can understand. After all, 40k has Tyranids, which is pretty much my definition of awesome. Oh, and damn you, now I want a Tyranid Blood Bowl team. With a Carnifex for the block line and a Hive Tyrant as receiver. Damn you!
